Intercompany Manager – Consulting

Summary:

As an Intercompany Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. You will help finance and accounting executives at multi-billion-dollar companies solve complex problems, from strategy through execution. You will work with firm leadership to build sales pipeline, sell new projects, expand current accounts, develop new capabilities, and lead project teams in the delivery of high-quality project outcomes for your clients. This role is fundamental in delivering world-class results for our portfolio of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1,000 clients.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a business-related field of study
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in consulting and collaboration with substantial, complex clients; ideally with a specialization in intercompany accounting and operational transfer price questions
  • Experience with implementation of digital transformation projects with a focus on intercompany transaction processing, reconciliation, accounting and reporting processes
  • Foundational knowledge of transfer pricing strategy, intercompany agreements, and transfer pricing maintenance
  • Deep understanding of BlackLine’s intercompany capabilities and solutions for end-to-end intercompany processing, including implementation experience
  • Deep knowledge of intercompany invoicing and transactional tradeflows
  • Understanding of intercompany netting and settlement processes, including statutory and regulatory considerations and impacts
  • Consulting of the finance organization to implement efficient finance processes as well as digitalization of business processes – from strategy development, concept preparation and process design to the optimization and implementation
  • Specialized consulting services in an international environment to solve complex problems in in-house accounting, interlocked with the respective logistics, controlling and accounting processes
  • Understanding of functional problems in internal and cross-border processes
  • Very good application and implementation capabilities in one or more of the following technologies: SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, SAP Central Finance, SAP Module FI/CO, SAP PaPM, BlackLine
  • Experience with System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles, leading practices, and execution a plus (i.e., requirements gathering, solution design and testing cycles)
  • Ability to lead conversations with Finance leaders and CFOs regarding their strategic agenda and provide meaningful insights
  • Provide subject matter expertise to client engagements, involving assessment, finance transformation, vendor selections, and implementations
  • Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestones tracking, risk management, status updates, change management and communications
  • Ability to manage people, develop teams and coach more junior team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clearly convey complex business concepts to executive audience free of grammatical errors, incorporating leading practices for business writing
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain and enhance the Clearsulting culture – build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrate the Clearsulting Core Values each day
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
