Job Description
Seeking a sales-minded individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, relevant Digital Finance experience, and demonstrated selling attributes/techniques. We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Director that can independently drive net new business at prospective accounts. Responsibilities will include sales development across all of our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Director is responsible for selling Digital Finance service offerings in a specific region. The role involves:
- Collaborate with Strategic Alliances, Marketing, and Practice team members to drive sales
- Create strategic and tactical plans to create leads at prospective accounts. Identify opportunities where Clearsulting service offerings can support prospective client initiatives
- Lead pursuit efforts on identified opportunities including scoping, pursuit strategy, negotiations, closing, etc.
- Create sales collateral to support end-to-end pursuit cycles
- Create awareness about Clearsulting, build relationships with key executives, and develop/pursue leads
- Drive the process of working with teams to identify, qualify and win opportunities
- Influence decision-makers at the highest levels within accounts
- Leverage network and executive level relationships to introduce Clearsulting at prospective accounts
- Create, drive, and support sales strategies and marketing campaigns
- Build relationships with prospective companies. Initiate and nurture relationships at target accounts
- Manage pipeline to hit sales target
- Build knowledge of pain points / priorities at prospective accounts
- Follow prospective accounts (news / events, participation in conferences / events, opportunities with strategic alliances)
Required Qualifications:
- Successful track record of sales to CFO organization, specifically within the Digital Finance space
- Experience selling high-value, project-based, consulting services, characterized by both large and small dollar transactions
- Ability to work as a team player in a highly collaborative environment
- Ability to articulate Clearsulting value proposition across all service offerings
- Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
- An ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations
- Experience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close new business at prospective accounts
- Experience selling intangibles
- Ability to travel 50%, on average
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience within the Digital Finance space
