Senior Advisory Consultant, Treasury

Location:

Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45-minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
Travel Expectations: Up to 20%

What You’ll Do:

Work alongside a team of Treasury experts to advise global companies on their Treasury function, including: designing and selecting treasury technology, assessing bank relationships and services, improving liquidity utilization, developing policies and controls, and identifying tech agnostic process improvement recommendations
Assist in developing executive-level presentations that translate complex issues into clear recommendations across processes, systems, and people
Perform primary research to map processes, uncover issues, identify gaps, and design innovative solutions for challenging client problems
Utilize cutting-edge statistical tools and software to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
Cultivate client relationships through delivery excellence

What You’ll Bring:

2+ years of relevant treasury experience working as a consultant or corporate practitioner
Functional understanding of treasury management systems (TMS), such as: Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS Integrity/Quantum, SAP TRM, etc.
Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, engagement economics (profitability), and communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can clearly convey complex business concepts to project stakeholders
Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

Nice-to-Haves:

Bachelor’s degree
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
Prior client-facing consulting experience
Knowledge of various treasury instruments, financial institution services, and financial products
Functional understanding of treasury best practices across bank relationship management, cash and liquidity forecasting, accounting and reconciliation, and system optimizations
