Preferred location for this position is Cleveland, OH or Columbus, OH. Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices for consideration
Office Options: Hybrid. Team members residing within a 45-minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.

What You’ll Do:

Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Lead balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, optimizing cash flow and supporting our collection processes.
Oversee expense report compliance and policy adherence, championing best practices and ensuring alignment with company standards.
Harness the power of data analytics and predictive reporting to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Innovate and automate finance processes using AI and cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business subject
1-3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Operations
Passion for driving innovation and automation, including an understanding of Microsoft Copilot, as well as other AI and automation tools
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Growth mindset, eagerness to learn and innovate

Nice-to-Haves:

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Exposure to accounting software or ERP systems, Certinia is a plus
Experience with month-end close activities
Exposure to financial reporting and analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for an evolving technology landscape
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
